What Highlight Color Effects does
Select the subject once
Refine the selection with Color Range, Brush, Erase, Lasso or Rectangle. The same selection carries into every option.
Set hue, saturation and lightness
Change hue, saturation, lightness and background treatment for each option. Changing one option leaves the others as they are.
Compare two options at the same size
Candidate A/B shows two options side by side at the same size.
Inspect edges beside the original
Detail shows edited edges next to the original, so you can check the edge before you decide.
Approve the options to present
Approve the options you want to keep. Editing an approved option clears its approval so you can review the change.
Review a labelled proof sheet
Check a proof sheet with clear labels and a named image for each approved option before you save.

Questions
Which formats does it save?
A single result saves as PNG, JPEG or TIFF. The proof sheet is a labelled image of the approved options.
Can it edit a batch of photos?
No. Each session edits one source photo, not a batch of unrelated pictures.
Are the colours exact for physical materials?
No. Colorways are visual proposals, not calibrated matches for physical materials.
Is it on Windows?
Not at the moment.
