What Color Splash does

  • Brush over the areas to colour

Click New to load an image in black and white, then paint colour back with the brush. Brush Border: the white circle outline won't be coloured, only the inside.

  • Use the original colours or new ones

Move the Color Shift slider to paint with colours different from the original. At 0.00 the brush returns the original colours.

  • Add light rays

Click Light Ray to place one of 120 transparent rays. Set its transparency with the slider, then move, rotate and resize it.

  • Save in five formats

Save the result as PNG, JPEG, JPEG2000, TIFF or BMP. You can also print the image or share it to social media.

Questions

Does it change my original photo?

Adding a photo starts a new black and white version that you paint on. Save writes the result as a new file in the format you choose.

Can I undo brush strokes?

Yes. Undo and Redo work on the changes you made with the brush, and Command+Z and Command+Shift+Z work too.

Which formats can I save in?

PNG, JPEG, JPEG2000, TIFF and BMP.

Need help with Color Splash?

Install and refund help for each store, and a form that reaches the developer.
