What Card Maker does

  • Place photos in designed openings

    Start with 12 editable Birthday, Thank You and Family designs. Place different photos in their own openings, adjust each crop.

  • Compare a design with three others

    Compare up to three other layouts with the same photos and greeting before you apply one. Canceling leaves your original unchanged.

  • Adjust the crop of each photo

    Select one photo, then set its X and Y position and crop zoom. The other pictures stay where they are.

  • Fix greeting text that overflows

    Fit Text helps you spot and correct words that overflow before you prepare the card. Adjust the font, placement and size of the greeting.

  • Add backgrounds, frames and stickers

    Add backgrounds, frames and stickers to the design, then write a full message over it.

How it works

    Choose a design

    Pick one of the Designs, filtered by Occasion.

  2. Step 2 of 5

    Add photos and your message

    Place your photos in the openings and write the greeting in the text layer.

  3. Step 3 of 5

    Compare the layouts

    Open Compare to see your original beside up to three alternative designs.

  4. Step 4 of 5

    Preview the outside page

    Open Prepare to inspect the outside PDF page and check placement with the calibration sheet.

  5. Step 5 of 5

    Save or print the result

    Save the PNG or PDF, share it, or open the system Print dialog.

Questions

Can I reopen a saved project?

No. Exported PNG and PDF files can be saved, but an editable project cannot be saved for reopening.

Which files does it export?

A PNG image of a selected card face, and a PDF of the prepared folded paper card with its outside and inside pages.

Does the printed result match the preview?

The final paper result depends on your printer.

Is it on Windows?

Not at the moment.
