Photo Converter: WebP & JXL

A folder you drag in no longer fails because of what else is in it. Folder import now filters what it finds against the types it can read, so a README, a sidecar or a stray movie is skipped instead of stopping the import. A mixed multi-file drop or a picker selection still aborts on the first non-image, and folders still arrive only by drag. The grid toolbar's item and selection count now shortens its wording in a narrow pane instead of clipping mid-word. The App Store listing has been rewritten. It leads with what this app is actually for — writing WebP and JPEG XL, which no Finder, Preview, sips, Shortcuts or Automator path can produce — and it names what the Mac already does free, including Finder's Convert Image, which is the better tool if your job is HEIC to JPEG at a smaller size. The previous description claimed metadata is preserved as part of the conversion, which was wrong: everything the bundled encoders write, WebP included, carries none of it. It now also states that color is normalized to sRGB, that an animated source comes out as a single frame, and that nothing is remembered between launches.
