What Bulk Image Resize Studio does
Set one size for a whole batch
Choose from 31 size presets or enter your own dimensions. Fit, Fill, Stretch and Canvas Pad adapt each image to its target.
Keep proportions and avoid enlarging
Keep proportions when needed and avoid enlarging smaller originals.
Name files from originals or a pattern
Name files from the original name, numbers, dimensions or dates. Existing names get numbered suffixes instead of replacing files.
Convert to JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIF or TIFF
Export JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIF or TIFF, or keep the source format when supported.
Check every destination before saving
Review intended destination filenames and possible conflicts before starting. You can see where each image is headed before the batch writes it.
Save export settings as named profiles
Save export settings as named profiles and reuse them. Revisit settings from your ten most recent batches.
How it works
Step 1 of 5
Add the photos
Drag files in or use Import, with up to 500 images per batch.
Step 2 of 5
Choose a size preset
Pick a Preset in Target Dimensions, or set Width and Height. Choose Resize Mode, such as Canvas Pad, to fit the target.
Step 3 of 5
Set format, quality and metadata
Pick the output format and quality, then choose whether to keep metadata or remove GPS location details.
Step 4 of 5
Review the output plan
Check the destination filenames and possible conflicts before you start the batch.
Step 5 of 5
Save and find the output
Open the output folder in Finder, and see which images succeeded or failed.
Imports GIF and BMP files, which cannot be chosen as export formats. Exports JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIF or TIFF, or keeps the source format when supported.

Questions
Does it replace files that already exist?
No. Existing names get numbered suffixes instead of silently replacing files, and the destination list shows where each image goes before the batch writes it.
Which formats does it support?
It imports GIF and BMP, which cannot be selected as export formats. It exports JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIF or TIFF, or keeps the source format when supported.
Can it crop or stretch images?
Yes. Fill can crop an image and Stretch can alter proportions. A destination check cannot guarantee that every file will encode.
Does it keep the metadata?
You choose whether to keep metadata or remove GPS location details.
