What PDF Watermark Studio does

  • Add and style a text, logo or QR mark

    Type CONFIDENTIAL or DRAFT, place a logo or add a QR code. Set font, size, colour, opacity and rotation, then pick a position or tile the mark.

  • Make a copy for each recipient (Mac)

    On Mac, import names and Copy IDs from CSV or TXT, check for missing or duplicate IDs, and choose which recipient copies to produce.

  • Review each marked page (Mac)

    On Mac, go through each copy's marked pages one by one. The Coverage list shows which pages are Checked or still Unchecked.

  • Batch, layer and export (Windows)

    On Windows, Batch marks a whole folder of PDFs at once. Stack several marks as layers, and export as Standard PDF, PDF/A or reduced-size, at 72 to 600 DPI.

  • Lock the marked copy (Windows)

    On Windows, set an open password and a permissions password that limits editing, printing and copying.

  • Reuse a setup for the next job

    Save your setup as a job on Mac or a template on Windows. On Mac, see which copies were written, retry eligible ones and export a PDF or JSON summary.

How it works

  1. Step 1 of 4

    Open a document

    On Mac, add one or more PDFs to Sources. On Windows, click Open, or use Batch for a whole folder.

  2. Step 2 of 4

    Choose Text, Image or QR Code

    Type the label, pick a logo file or set up a QR code.

  3. Step 3 of 4

    Style and place the mark

    Set the style and Position, and switch on Tile Across Page (Mac) or Tile Watermark (Windows) to repeat the mark.

  4. Step 4 of 4

    Check the pages, then save

    On Mac, review each page and check filenames for conflicts before saving. On Windows, use Before/After, then click Export Watermarked PDF.

Questions

Does PDF Watermark Studio change my original PDF?

On Mac, no: it writes separate marked copies and leaves your originals unchanged. On Windows, you export the marked file under a name you set, such as {name}_watermarked.

Can I edit the text of a PDF?

On Mac, no. It adds marks to pages and is not a general PDF text editor.

Can I mark only some pages?

Yes. On Windows, target all pages, the first, last, odd or even pages, a range like 1-5, 8, or a custom selection. On Mac, set marks for individual pages.

Can I add a password to the marked file?

On Windows, yes. Set an open password and a permissions password that limits editing, printing and copying. The Mac listing does not describe password protection.

Does it send the copies to recipients?

No. The Mac app prepares recipient copies as files. It does not email them or certify that anyone received them.
