What Image Base64 Encoder does

  • Copy the complete snippet

Copy transfers the complete result, even when the preview is shortened.

  • Choose a snippet format

Pick Raw Base64, Data URI, HTML, CSS or Markdown for each image.

  • Add alt text and decorative flags

For HTML or Markdown, describe an informative image or mark it decorative. Missing details are shown before the snippet is ready.

  • Build a set from several images

Choose which images belong to the set, then check the proposed names.

  • Check the size before you share

See the full Copy and Files sizes separately. Add your own byte limit if a destination restricts the output.

  • Save files without overwriting

Choose a local folder and see which files were saved. Existing files are never replaced.

How it works

  1. Step 1 of 4

    Add an image

  2. Step 2 of 4

  3. Step 3 of 4

    Assemble a set

Select the images for the set and review the proposed names before you prepare the output.

  4. Step 4 of 4

    Save to a folder

Review the names, choose a local folder and deliver the set. Retry failed entries if needed.

Questions

Does it change my original files?

Original image bytes are not resized or recompressed. Copy transfers the complete result.

Which formats does it output?

Single images produce Raw Base64, Data URI, HTML, CSS or Markdown. Sets can also produce JSON.

Does it overwrite existing files?

No. Existing files are never replaced when the set is saved.

Can it decode Base64 back into images?

No. It is designed for compact image snippets and sets, not arbitrary Base64 decoding.
