What My Wallpapers does

  • Add photos from folders

    Choose Add Folder or Open Wallpapers and review your picks before adding them. Accepted photos are copied into your collection.

  • Include or exclude each photo

    Keep a photo in your collection and take it out of automatic rotation, or put it back in.

  • Set the interval and order

    Switch every 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Choose Sequential, or Shuffle, which uses each eligible photo before repeating.

  • Preview before applying

    Select a photo without changing the desktop. Try Fill or Fit, choose Main Display or All Displays, then apply it.

  • Skip, pause or hold the routine

    Skip ahead, Pause Rotation, or Hold Until a time you choose.

  • Check the current desktop

    Current Desktop shows a wallpaper only when macOS confirms it is applied.

How it works

    Add your photos

    Choose Add Folder or Open Wallpapers, then review the imports before they join your collection.

    Choose the lineup

    Include the photos you want in rotation and exclude the rest.

  3. Step 3 of 4

    Set the interval and order

    Pick 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes, then Sequential or Shuffle.

  4. Step 4 of 4

    Preview, then apply

    Select a photo without changing the desktop, then press Apply when you are ready.

Questions

Are the photos copied into the app?

Yes. Accepted images become copies in your personal collection.

Does it keep rotating when I close it?

No. Automatic rotation works only while the app is running and stops when you quit.

Can each display have its own schedule?

No. One collection controls the routine, without independent per-display schedules or animated wallpapers.

Is it on Windows?

Not at the moment.
