What Image Quality Booster does

  • Adjust tone and colour per photo

    Set exposure, highlights, shadows and contrast, then shape hues with curves, HSL and selective colour.

  • Import a .cube LUT

    On Windows, load any .cube 3D LUT and set its intensity.

  • Make local corrections with masks

    Apply radial, gradient and brush masks with per-region exposure and contrast.

  • Stack photos and text as layers

    Combine photos, text and shapes in layers, each with opacity and blend modes.

  • Apply one look to a folder

    Apply a saved look to a whole folder of photos.

How it works

  1. Step 1 of 4

    Open a photo

    Open the photo. It appears as the Background layer in Layer Studio.

  2. Step 2 of 4

    Adjust tone and colour

    Set exposure, contrast and saturation with the sliders, then refine with curves, HSL and selective colour.

  3. Step 3 of 4

    Save the grade as a look

    Save the settings as a named look or preset to reuse on another photo.

  4. Step 4 of 4

    Export the finished photo

    Export as JPEG, PNG, TIFF or WebP. JPEG and WebP have a quality setting.
